Whip up these flavor-packed tacos in about 30 minutes with our ready-made simmer sauce for the vegan beef and fresh toppings. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, fast, and deeply flavorful.

1 pound ground vegan beef

Adobo sauce, tomatoes, chipotle, onion, garlic, chili powder, coriander, cumin, Mexican oregano

6-Organic corn tortillas

2 large organic tomato

1 head organic romaine

1 organic red onion

1 lime

3 garlic cloves

2 organic avocado

7 springs of cilantro

4 tablespoons sour cream

2 ounces avocado lime sauce

½ cup shredded cheese

12 ounces cooked black beans


1.Prep the garnishes into small bowls

Trim the root end from the romaine hearts; keep a few leaves whole for taco bowls for any paleo diners.

Coarsely tear the remaining romaine leaves.

Peel and finely chop enough red onion to measure ½ cups

Cut the lime into wedges.

Cutaway the cores form the tomatoes; coarsely chop the tomatoes

Cut the avocados in half lengthwise. Remove the pits, slice the flesh in the shell into ¼-inch- thick slices. Scoop out the shell

Cut the cilantro and stems into 1-inch pieces.

2..Cook the vegan beef

In a large sautee pan over medium heat add 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add the garlic and vegan beef and cook, stirring to break up the meat, until lightly browned but not yet cooked through 8 to 10 minutes. Add the sauce just to heat through.

3.Warm the tortillas

Remove the 6 tortillas from the package. Arrange the tortillas in a large pan, sprinkle with water and cover over low heat for 1 minute.

4. Re-heat the black beans in a saucepan for 2 minutes

To serve Set out the tortillas, and the bowls of garnishes, invite everyone to assemble their own tacos or taco bowls.

Tear the romaine leaves

Measure out the red onion

Cut the avocados with a plastic knife

Fill all of the toppings bowls.

Assemble their own tacos.
